Availability & Hours:
We are looking for availability from 8am-7pm depending on clientele scheduling. This job can be seasonal. In our busier months we are expecting 35-40 hours a week. In the winter months (November-March) the hours will be 10-20 hours a week, unless you are cross trained elsewhere. You have the option to be laid off during the winter months if you would like. We do require some weekends if that is what best fits some of our clients schedules.
Education and Training:
No formal training or degree is required for this position as an Invisible Fence Brand trainer. Majority of applicants have had prior dog experience. This position as an invisible fence brand trainer normally takes 3-4 weeks hands on training days. We can offer more if needed. We require and pay for all trainers to be certified for Perfect Start Plus Training, which is normally a 2 day seminar/workshop. Due to this expense, we require all trainers to sign a one year contract committing them to work for us one year after being certified. If this falls through, the employee is then obligated to pay us back for that full expense.
Travel/Transportation during work hours:
You will be using a company vehicle to travel from appointments. This vehicle must return back to the office each night and not be used for personal use. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of this vehicle and providing receipts for gas. You will be given a gas card that is assigned to that vehicle.
Pay starts out at $12-13 per hour based on experience. After being certified for Perfect Start Plus Training, you will get a $2 raise.
We offer a $40.00 phone allowance as you will be using your phone out in the field for GPS, phone calls, and using our software program to book appointments and look up clients.
Commission possibly available for selling and/or upgrading products.
